I've spent some years, travelling, performing and songwriting in some edges of the world. This album is a bit of sentimental one for me ( they all are).
Most of these songs are from a show last July with my friend George-Grace (Mood Spill) our Ben good friend wanted to record the show. GG released an album from the night (it's awesome- also on bandcamp), so it goes I had these songs and they could just sit on my laptop but I just couldn't leave these songs behind. They mean heaps to me.
There's an unreleased track I wrote about Rome, and a song I wrote heartbroken on the day after election day and an early recording of the track 'gestures of love'. I have more releases coming later in the year, with mood spill and for my solo stuff. I can't wait to release those songs. Here is 'something to be' or something for me.
